Registration
Purpose
This course meets the Cargo Handling and Stowage training requirements of 46 CFR 11.309 (a) (4) (x) for an STCW endorsement as Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch on vessels of 500 or more gross tonnage (ITC). (This STCW course is approved by the U.S. Coast Guard and the Dominica Maritime Administration.)

Objectives
Upon successful completion of this training course, a trainee should possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and competence to assume immediate responsibility for the safe loading, discharging, and care in transit, or handling of cargo on oil tankers. This includes a comprehensive understanding of the characteristics and hazards associated with oil cargoes, along with the relevant regulations and codes governing their transportation. The trainee will also be able to identify and assess potential risks and take appropriate measures to mitigate them, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of oil cargoes.

Evaluation
All participants have to complete a questionnaire in order to obtain the certificate.
Certification - Diploma
All persons who successfully complete the course based on the performance standards will receive certificate with five years validity in line with Offshore International Industries guidelines. This Training follows international standards of quality and meets the ISO 9001-2015 requirements.
