Purpose

The Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan is a devise by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) to measure and control the green house gas (GHG) emissions from ships. The main purpose of SEEMP is to not only reduce harmful emissions from ships but also to improve efficiency and decrease fuel consumption. Green is a new era of sailing and it needs to be adopted optimally.

 

The course will cover the following topics:

Enhancement of ship efficiency

Reduction in fuel consumption

Alternative fuel for decrease in GHG emission

Speed optimization

Weather routing

Hull monitoring and maintenance

Electric power m

Participants will gain knowledge how to properly use and implement Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan in everyday schedule routine. Learn how to optimize fuel consumption and proportionally decrease green house gas (GHG) emissions, perform efficient weather routine and speed optimization.

All participants have to complete a questionnaire in order to obtain the certificate.

Certification – Diploma
